Dopezilla falls under the Famous Brandz umbrella. Famous Branz is well known for their collabs, getting together with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry including Snoop Dogg. 20 years of experience with a vast array of products on offer. Dopezilla specialises in creating some pretty tough glass pieces in some fairly unique designs in a range of collections. The Monster Edition Water Pipe Line incorporates 4 epic pieces: three water pipes and one dab rig, all adorned with their own horrifying monster (above the logo on the neck). This is the Cerberus 16″ Water Pipe by Dopezilla.
CERBERUS 16″
Cerberus? Taken from Greek Mythology, a three-headed dog that guards the gates to the underworld to prevent escape. This explains the 3 dog heads image that can be found in the Dopezilla “Monster Edition” Glass Range. A little more menacing than my sweet whippet!
All Cerberus water pipes/rigs share the same general features – A straight tube style piece handcrafted from durable borosilicate glass. A tube that sits upon a thickened pedestal of glass for stability. Honeycomb percolators have been included in the range, with either 1, 2 or 3 of them added depending on height. At 16″ this is the tallest of the Cerberus range and there are 3 percs stacked horizontally, one above the other.
Honeycomb perc? A flat disc with a multitude of holes. Smoke and water is pushed up through these holes effectively breaking up smoke for super filtration to occur.
The down stem is fixed and is in the style of “banger hanger”. This style of stem sits at a specific angle outside of the glass (90°) so that your flower bowl extends away from the body. This form will also act as a kind of ash catcher helping to keep the percolators cleaner for longer. The water chamber is on the roomier side due to the extra height but I recommend keeping it below the lowest percolator and above the entry point of the down stem. Smoke will be extra cooled/filtered as it passes through both perc before reaching the ice catch/splash guard.
Keep moving up the tube and you will encounter the “ice catch”, a dramatic narrowing of the inner tube that performs 2 roles. Helps diminish splash back by restricting the free flow of water up the tube. The second role is all about providing extreme cooling if you so desire. Actual chunks of ice can be inserted via the mouthpiece. They are held in place above the water chamber with your smoke passing through them before you inhale. Lastly at the very top is the mouthpiece, flat and reinforced glass that is teal (kind of light green) in colour.
