**A powerless/manual dry herb vaporiser designed for water pipe usage.

The team at DynaVap is made up of engineers, technologist and herbal enthusiasts and they proudly craft all their products in-house in the United States of America. They have one goal and that is to deliver what they feel are the best battery-free vaporising options available. The first thing you will notice about any of the products that DynaVap produces is the exquisite craftsmanship and quality design. Extremely strong and durable pieces that can literally go with you anywhere. Simple to use, take apart as well as maintain. Clear your mind of all expectations, this is nothing like the dry herb vaping you may already be used to.

The Dynavap Omni System is a little different to the standard “M’ Models that I currently sell. The entire premise centres around allowing complete control of the vapour and air intake ratio. Basically, you are able to twist the mouthpiece which in turn extends/retracts the condenser into the tip enabling simple adjustments of flow restriction. The Omni System included the various models of the Omnivap (Titanium and XL Titanium) and the Omnivong (XL and Hydra XL), with the Omnivong XL (and Hydra) crafted to be used with water pipes (14mm connection).

The DynaVap Omnvivong XL is constructed from titanium and wood (except for the stainless-steel cap of course) and comes with the following……

  • Titanium Omni Mouthpiece
  • 62mm Midsection (Wood)
  • Omni XL Condenser (adjustable)
  • 109mm in length
  • Adjustable Depth Herb Chamber

The beauty and the uniqueness of the Omnivong is the wood midsection. Not just for aesthetics the midsection has been crafted to fit seamlessly with the down stem of your water pipe (14mm female connection only) allowing you to vape through water. Resulting in a smoother and cooler experience.

At 109mm in length this is the ultimate in portable go anywhere vaping. A simple to use, (almost) unbreakable device that comes equipped with the Dynavap signature heating cap that brings all the magic to this unique one of a kind vaporiser.

One of the biggest complaints that I encounter in regard to dry herb vaping is battery life, with even my most prestige units requiring a regular recharge. I personally have found this a little frustrating. The only “power” that you will require will come in the form of Butane for your lighter. The Omnivong XL also boasts of a very fast heat up time (5-15 seconds dependent on lighter), especially in comparison to electronic dry herb vaporisers (30-90 seconds).

TIP: This is not the time to skimp out on a lighter. A standard lighter won’t cut it and will take a while (if ever) to adequately produce vapour. A Butane torch is your best bet for easy, quick heating. A single flame will work but a double or even triple flame will heat faster and more efficiently.

The standout feature of all the DynaVap models is the unique method of heating to produce your vapour. From start to finish different to all other forms of herbal vaping. The magic all happens via the DynaVap Captive Cap. A heating cap comes standard with all available models and is an extremely important part so please don’t lose it! The cap acts as a thermostat of sorts, reading the temperature of the bowl and then alerting you audibly when vapeable temperature has been reached. A loud click will be heard, louder on the 2020 model than previous models. A further click will be heard when the Omnivong XL is starting to cool down – then and ONLY then can you reheat. Take care as overheating your cap may damage it.

The mouthpiece can be adjusted by a simply twist. Twist is a clockwise direction and it will extend, twist anti-clockwise and it retracts back into the condenser tip. This simple act gives you the ability to customise your vaping experience by controlling the ratio of air intake and vapour.

It may take you a few practice runs (can be done without herb placed inside) to get the hang of but you will quickly become a master. Correct usage is all about the following 3 points:

  • How to heat
  • When to stop heating
  • When it is safe to reheat

Mastering the steps above will ensure you thoroughly enjoy your experience and won’t burn/combust your herb. Details below.

Remove the top cap to pack your herb. Pack however you like but a loose full pack is recommended. You may grind the herb (not too fine as may enter into unit itself via screen), roughly shred it or even place a whole nugget within. Replace the cap.

If using your Omnivong with a water pipe you will now need to decide if you want to light in hand or whilst in place within your down stem.  Either way ensure that the cap is upright whilst lighting with your Butane torch. If possible, slowly rotate your Omnivong whilst lighting the cap to ensure even heating. I would recommend holding the flame far enough away, so it is almost touching the cap.

TIP: You can control the temperature either by lighting closer to the top of the cap or closer to the cap’s base. Lower temperatures can be reached via heating of the top of the cap and higher temperature via heating the base of the cap. Don’t light the very end as you would a cigarette though, only the sides.

This is the crucial point, you will need to continue lighting till you hear an audible “click”, and yes you will hear it so be patient and wait! An internal thermostat detects the rising temperature and clicks when ready for use. I cannot stress how important this step is, inadequate heating will result in either no vapour or even worse – burnt herb!

TIP: Do not heat after hearing the click, place the lighter down. Always respect the click!! And now to confuse you – for a heavier hit it is permissible to heat for a second or 2 (maximum) post-click. Please only attempt this after you have mastered this device to avoid burning!

Don’t touch the cap. You may now inhale via the mouthpiece of your water pipe (don’t forget the carb hole!). Vapour may be pretty light to start with and will build up over time. Slow and deep breaths.

TIP: Don’t forget to twist the mouthpiece to create your own preferred experience.

Keep inhaling/pass it around until you once again hear the audible click, this time letting you know that you are now BELOW optimal temperature. You can safely reheat with your lighter once you hear the second click – but NOT before. If you start heating before the click you will effectively be burning your herb and wasting it. Severely burning your DynaVap may damage it too. If you don’t hear the click, simply wait a minute or so for cooling down to occur before reheating.

TIP: If you have burnt your herb and want to get rid of the horrible taste, your only option will be to thoroughly clean the unit and start again.

You will need to allow the cap to cool down before touching to repack your device. You can use the elongated portion of the cap to sweep out the old and then pack again with the new.

The Omnivong comes apart into its various components for easy cleaning. The M comes apart into the following;

  • Titanium Omni Mouthpiece
  • 62mm Midsection (Wood)
  • Omni XL Condenser (adjustable)
  • Cap
  • CCD (base of heating chamber)

Pull off top cap and gently shimmy out the tip. The condenser can also be slid out from within the midsection. To remove the CCD, you can insert the condenser into the smaller end of the tip and push the CCD gently out. 2 O-rings sit along the condenser, remove these before cleaning (don’t lose them).

Place the tip, CCD and condenser into a cleaning solution. A soak in a warm bath mixed with cleaning solution should do the trick. Rinse and allow to dry before reassembly.

TIP: DynaVap does not recommend using Isopropyl Alcohol. It will not damage your device, but they advise that flammable liquids should be avoided.
