Just as with the PS1 model I wish I could explain the name to you, but I have found nothing so far. Sadly, I am time poor at the moment and may stop looking. Medicinal Marijuana oil cartridges are now available on prescription in Australia and for these you will require a 510 threaded battery stick of sorts. The KS1 is such a battery stick but not like any you may have seen before.
TIP: Should hold almost all 510 threaded cartridges.
Described as the world’s first 2-in-1 vape cartridge and concentrate bubbler. There is a single 510 threaded slot within enabling you to either affix an oil filled cartridge or to use the included wax coil. Easily interchangeable and the battery will power whatever is attached. For those of you that like to do things large I recommend that you check out the PS1 model which has 2 slots allowing you to use 2 cartridges at a time or to vape 1 cartridge along with a wax coil simultaneously.
A quick note on the included coil – They call them a coil but I would use the term “bucket”. Ceramic lines the inside of this coil/bucket.
Battery capacity: 500mAh
The KR1 is a bubbler meaning that there is water filtration included as a feature. The long glass mouthpiece portion lifts so you can fill it directly with water. The inclusion of water will result in smoother, fresher and cleaner vapour.
TIP: There is a carb hole included so you clear out any excess vapour. Hold and release to enhance the experience.
This is a serious vaporiser battery with high quality circuitry within, yet it is very easy to use. Button activation with 3 power levels/variable voltage.

All good cartridge batteries should have variable voltage in my humble opinion as various extraction methods can result in thicker or runnier oils. I tend to recommend the lowest temperature/voltage possible for good vapour production/effect. For dabs I would go high temperature. The KR1 is fully rechargeable via USB Charger and a full charge should take around 1 hour.

MAINTENANCE TIPS: Any device dealing with oils has the potential to leak. Regular cleaning will keep the device at its optimal performance.
RECOMMENDED CLEANING: 1-2 times per cartridge change or depending on usage. Please use a Q-Tip and rubbing alcohol.
RECOMMENDED BUBBLER CLEANING: Clean with an alcohol swab or a Q-Tip and rubbing alcohol. Remove o-ring, cover the holes, and shake with rubbing alcohol. Immediately after, shake with dish soap and water and dry accordingly.
RECOMMENDED PLASTIC HOUSING CLEANING: Clean with an alcohol swab or a Q-Tip and rubbing alcohol. DO NOT submerge the housing unit in rubbing alcohol. Immediately after, clean with dish soap and water then dry accordingly. DO NOT USE ACETONE OR SOLVENTS FOR CLEANING, ONLY RUBBING ALCOHOL.
