The name Hoss Glass came on my radar a little while back and my interest was immediately piqued. Founded in 2009, Hoss Glass is a Canadian brand (Waterloo, Ontario to be specific) that crafts hand-made glassware and smoking accessories. Hoss Glass is the home of the original “build-a-bong” concept (allowing you to 100% customise your preferred experience) and offer quite a wide array of bubblers, water pipes and pipes of all sizes, colours and thicknesses. All their glass products are made/blown at their Canadian facility and after perusing their wares I can easily say that some of their collection is pretty wild!
FEATURES
I find these particular bowls to be quite visually appealing. Very solid glass in vividly beautiful colours. Very thick borosilicate glass has been used, almost 5mm thick! Large capacity bowls that will provide quite a large hit if packed completely. Definitely not for beginners with a small water pipe set up. Such a large bowl usually requires a screen of some sort and Hoss has provided one built right into the base of the bowl. A full glass screen shaped to resemble a multi-armed snowflake. This screen will ensure that ash and herbal material do not make their way into your water pipe.
These male flower bowl will fit a 14mm female connection and each has a frosted port for an airtight fit. A thick rectangular tab acts as a side handle for safety and to ensure your bowl does not roll off of a flat surface. This tab has the Hoss Platinum Crown Logo. This is a very high quality bowl for my connoisseur big hitters or for those that like to customise their glassware with coloured glass accessories. Take care of these bowl and they should last quite a while and I would say that they are fairly easy to clean.
