This is the year I step it up in terms of glassware, lowering the amount of brands I source whilst upping the quality, the functionality and ease of usage. A big welcome to Prism Water Pipes, a brand that wanted to shake up the industry, providing water pipes designed to eliminate issues based around cleaning/hygiene. Customisable water pipes that come apart completely allowing you to replace (or add) portions if you so desire. Prism loves a collaboration and they have paired up with some very talented graphic artists to bring you some incredible decal designs making their glass pieces worthy of showcasing.
**This is a collaboration between Prism and Tommy Devoid. An artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania whose signature style is a mixture of dark and witty humour with a focus on skeletons in a variety of poses.
FEATURES
Prism makes water pipes (Beakers) in either a standard or tall size. This is a tall beaker standing at over 45cms tall. A deceptively simple design with a very large beaker base, a very long neck and a Halo (black in this version) to keep both portions together. A Halo is provided with each Prism water pipe, an anodized aluminium sleeve with a threaded molded plastic insert. 2 silicone gaskets within each Halo allow each piece of glass to twist safely into place. Think of the Halo as a connector that enables easy access for cleaning as well as customisation.
I wasn’t kidding when I said the beaker base is massive, it will hold a lot of water. The clear base is very flat with skull artwork upon the interior. A down stem and a 14mm male flower bowl are provided. Both are clear glass and removable. The stem is of the diffusion variety (6 slits) which will effectively break up your smoke and the bowl is funnel shaped with a handle. Move upwards bypassing the Halo and the neck begins. Purple glass with a myriad of skulls upon it. Skulls displaying different facial expressions. At the base of the neck sits the ice-pinch, 3 inbuilt glass prongs that provide a substantial narrowing to capture ice chunks should you wish to include them. Including frozen ice will dramatically cool the smoke increasing levels of comfort. The ice pinch will also function as a splash guard for those that like a deep inhalation. Lastly the mouthpiece is reinforced, curved and super smooth.
