I prattle on endlessly about the benefits of keeping your smoke ware clean, especially water pipes. The difference can be life changing. There are many ways to keep your pipes clean and I advocate for as natural as regime as you can achieve. Cleaning plugs play a crucial role in the cleaning process allowing you to plug up openings for a thorough soaking. There are 2 plugs in this kit, both made from 100% BPA Free and FDA Food Grade Silicone. One plug is large, designed to fit the mouthpiece and one is on the smaller side for the down stem insertion point. The smaller plug nests within the larger plug for storage.
Measuring: Large Plug fits 35mm to 60mm openings. Small Plug fits 14mm and 19mm joints.
The premise is very easy, simply fill your water pipe with your favourite glass cleaner (+ rock salt if you so choose), plug up the openings and shake/agitate carefully. I strongly recommend holding both plugs as you shake. If you leave the piece to soak keep the plugs in place till it is time to rinse. There is a second reason to use plugs – to block odours from escaping. You may require this during travel or for an extra level of discretion whilst storing away your water pipe.
