I now have an entire shelf dedicated to cookbooks in my Bondi 420 Lifestyle and Herbal Vaporiser Superstore. One of my most favourite shelves filled with some of the most beautifully illustrated/photographed books I have ever seen. Medicinal marijuana is booming in Australia (and worldwide) and at the same time a variety of ways to ingest herbal medicine is being explored. Smoking/vaping your medicine does not have the same effect as eating it and will never be as safe or as long lasting.
Another lady doing fabulous work in the cannabis space, and I couldn’t be prouder to watch more and more females emerge to make a mark in the industry. This lady is the real deal when it comes to cooking and cookbooks having penned a variety of books focused heavily on sustainability. The Farm to Table Movement along with Non-GMO and Organic Farming are her obsession and buying local is her catchcry. This book takes a slight detour from her usual writings by including dishes from organic farmers as well as award winning chefs, but her ethos of sustainable farming still shines through.

To clarify these are not recipes directly from Tracy herself but are a curation of inspiring recipes and the stories behind each. Tracey went out and spoke to dozens of organic farmers, award winning chefs, artisans and food producers across the USA and asked them to document their tried and tested CBD and THC infused recipes.
It doesn’t do the book justice to call it a simple cookbook, this book is an invaluable resource offering innumerable hints and tips to up your edibles game. The goal of this book is to demystify cannabis and its culinary usages. This is achieved via storytelling whereby each contributor shares their personal struggles as well as successes all of which have led them to a better understanding the wonder herb that is cannabis.
This book is divided into regions, covering different parts of the United States and is further divided into 3 subcategories: CBD, hemp and THC. A profile on each contributor is given along with their favourite step by step recipes. I really have learnt a lot just from perusing this book. Tracey Medeiros would like her readers to gain confidence and feel safe in exploring their medicinal intake. If you are ready to move on from the standard brownie or gummy bear then this book is for you.
