I really should have opened a bookstore earlier on in my life, when they still existed at least! They joy I receive just from the smell of books may be considered a problem by some but there are worse things to love. Education is very important to me and I am never more fulfilled when sharing knowledge with others. CBD Oil is booming all over the world right now, with more and more people (of all ages and demographics) lining up to get their hands on some. Sadly, the legal landscape in Australia at the moment makes this quite difficult with a legal prescription providing the most regulated oil but at prohibitive prices. Hemp based CBD oil is considered legal though but there are many inferior products out there pretending to be something they are not. Please take care with unknown sourced oil.

IDAN NAOR

Those of you that have perused my instore/online books may have noticed that I am rather picky about the books I choose to stock. As with all popular products many have jumped on the bandwagon to reap the rewards, these are not the books I care to stock. I research each and every author before even looking at the book they produced. So who is this man with such an interesting name? Firstly, he loves food, vegan food to be exact and he has a café in London called Feel Good Café. As with many of my authors he sadly suffered for conditions that impacted heavily on his quality of life and his journey with CBD began, with transformative results.

Idan Naor is considered to be quite the pioneer in the world of CBD oil, producing one of the United Kingdom’s first and more importantly high-quality CBD oil. Feelgood Essentials is the name of the brand, and they produce True Full Spectrum CBD (hemp based) oil. I won’t go into detail here but in a nutshell Full Spectrum refers to an oil that includes natural terpenes and flavonoids (not an isolate then). These compounds work synergistically together to create what is called the “entourage effect”, creating a more powerful medicine.

TIP: True Full Spectrum is determined by the methods of extraction used. Extraction methods using solvent, winterisation (C02 extraction) and/or high heat usually destroys terpenes with some companies adding terpenes at the end stage to recreate the original product. This is not full spectrum!

LITTLE BOOK OF CBD

Aptly named as it is little book. Hardcover with no illustrations/photos but packed with useful hints and tips to help destigmatise CBD. A simple to read, trustworthy and unbiased source of information from a man that lives and breathes CBD oil. The following topics are included;

  • What is CBD
  • How does CBD work?
  • How is CBD made?
  • What to look for when purchasing
  • How to take it
  • Healing powers
  • Pain
  • Sleep
  • Testimonials from users

This is a great little book for those wanting to educate themselves and who believe in self-care. Idan’s guidance is approved by doctors and scientists and backed up by testimonials from people who have radically improved their health with CBD. This is an informational resource only and you should discuss your health with your doctor before stopping/starting any new treatments.
