This is a collaboration between Famous Brandz and Cheech and Chong’s 40th Anniversary. Famous Branz is well known for their collabs, getting together with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry including Snoop Dogg. 20 years of experience with a vast array of products on offer.
Cheech and Chong may be a little too off the radar for many of my customers. These 2 men were massive icons in the 70’s with a reputation for their extreme methods of cannabis consumption. They starred in many movies and are beloved to this day.
FEATURES
I would refer to this water pipe as a “beaker’, a style of water pipe designed for larger hits. Beakers all share a few similar features including a large water chamber and an elongated neck. These features enable thorough filtration and cooling of a massive amount of smoke.
The bell-shaped water chamber in this piece is particularly roomy, quite possibly one of the largest that I currently stock. The base is very flat for stability and there is an image of Cheech and Chong etched onto the glass. The chamber is wide and tall and will hold quite a bit of water. Premium Hand blown Borosilicate Glass has been used making this a durable water pipe.
Within the chamber sits the downs stem. It sits at an angle and is a diffusion style of down stem. A diffusion down stem has multiple slits (6 in this one). These slits break down your smoke into multiple smaller bubbles. More bubbles equates to extra thorough filtration, and a more comfortable experience. This down stem is removable for cleaning and there is a frosted port for your bowl to slide into.
A 14mm flower bowl is provided. It is removable and has a disc handle for your safety. This bowl has a large capacity which makes sense for a beaker. It comes in the shape of a funnel and the glass is quite thick with a frosted port for an airtight fit.
Beakers tend to narrow sharply at the neck, this is primarily so that splashback is diminished. A long neck is usually standard too. The neck in this water pipe is adequately long and will provide enough space for your smoke to cool before inhalation occurs. The outside of the neck is etched with fine black swirly lines. I think these lines are meant to represent smoke spirals which makes sense as this water piece is called “Up in Smoke”. Lastly, we reach the mouthpiece perched upon the top of the neck. A very wide and flat mouthpiece.
