I am well known for my extensive researching, and I take pride in finding new brands/products, but I cannot take credit for this find. A valued customer of mine reached out to me via Instagram to introduce the Hamilton Devices brand (thanks Josh!) and it was love at first sight! I owe him big time.

Hamilton Devices are experts in all things CCELL. They are internationally recognised for their superior CCELL (Ceramic Heating) Technology Cartridges as well as their incredibly innovative oil and/or wax vaporisers.

THE CLOAK V2

Medicinal Marijuana oil cartridges are now available on prescription in Australia and for these you will require a 510 threaded battery stick of sorts. This is definitely one such battery. An update to the original Cloak, now larger and with a button for more control. You are also provided a 510 threaded wax coil/bucket enabling you to use this battery for extracts/dabs/concentrates. Variable voltage is also now offered with the new and improved version 2.

Discretion is a very important feature for many of my customers when they are vaping their medicinal cartridges. Something small usually fits the bill. Small enough to fit completely within the palm of your hand and easily into a pocket. Hamilton has quite a few 510 threaded batteries styles that I would say fall into the “discrete” category. The Cloak, as the name implies is designed to provide the ultimate in discretion. The Cloak totally encapsulates a cartridge but it is NOT a “drop in” style of vaporiser. This means that it does not require a magnetic connector accessory and you still thread your cartridge within. This vape is in the shape of an arch on one end and flat on the other. It comes apart into 2 pieces, one slides away from the other. Once apart you can easily screw in the cartridge and reassemble.

Small, light and compact with minimal markings. The body is durable plastic and zinc alloy to be exact. There are carb holes on the bottom that you can cover/reveal as you wish. This features regulates airflow and allows for larger/smaller hits. Variable voltage is provided enabling a change of temperature and it is denoted via a coloured light. 3 settings that are controlled via on simple button. There is NO preheat function and this battery works by either draw or button activation for inhalation to occur. This device will also allow you to vaporise herbal extracts (concentrates/wax/dabs) via the 510 threaded Wax Coil that is provided.

The USB port is also on the base. Fully rechargeable via USB-C Charger and a full charge will not take long (less than 2 hours). As with all Hamilton Devices units this battery contains a High Quality Circuit Board within making this a very safe battery. The battery capacity is 650mAh, an above average amount which should last for a while before a recharge is required.

NOTE: Should hold almost all 510 threaded cartridges. Extremely tall carts may be a problem (taller than average with long mouthpieces).
