Those that know me well are well aware of my obsession with tea. Rare Green and Oolong Teas are my thing. For this and other reasons, this unique glass water pipe definitely drew my attention. A fully functional work of art made by Art of Smoke, a brand that crafts artisanal glass and ceramic pieces. Minimal designs in small sizes are their hallmark and each piece is handmade in the USA.
FEATURES
This is a bubbler, a specific form of water pipe. Bubblers tend to have their flower bowl positioned directly at the very top (removable or fixed), generally where you would find the mouthpiece in Beaker and other styles of bongs. Down stem are usually fixed in place within a Bubbler, extending straight down into the water chamber. This Bubbler is a little different, with a removable flower bowl/slide (14mm male) as well as a diffusion down stem. Both slip out easily for cleaning.
Shaped exactly like many of my miniature teapots with a sturdy flat base and rounded body. Full Borosilicate glass has been used, making this piece quite durable. Clear and green glass has been used, a green bowl and green handle. For its size there is quite a decent sized water chamber and the angled/extended mouthpiece (pouring spout) will provide some level of anti-splash back effect. Lastly, there is a small circular place mat provided.
MEASURING: 9cms tall without bowl. 13cms tall if flower bowl in position. Approximately 15cms wide at widest point, handle to spout.
