FEATURES
Eccentricity is a hallmark of Hemper and this one is no exception! Basically an egg on a pedestal with spots all over it, kind of makes me think of Humpty Dumpty. The spots are green and vary in size. A medium sized water pipe with a rather roomy water chamber. The thick pedestal base will help keep this piece upright which is pretty handy for an egg! Borosilicate glass has been used to craft this water pipe, a durable and heat-resistant form of glass.
Measuring: Just over 18cms in height ( top of egg). Almost 20cms from base of egg to tip of angled mouthpiece. This is the larger version and there is also a smaller one.
The down stem is fixed in place and sits at a 90 degree angle. This style is sometimes termed as “banger hanger” and it means that this water pipe can be used safely as a dab rig if a banger is swapped out with the flower bowl. A dab rig required a powerful torch lighter for heating and safety is imperative. The down stem curves down within the water chamber and culminates in a custom mushroom shaped percolator. This perc will break up smoke into a multitude of smaller bubbles. The more bubbles present the more filtration will occur. A 14mm male flower bowl/slide is provided, green glass. Removable with a glass handle for easy handling. I would call it small in capacity.
Lastly there is a tube-like protruding mouthpiece. It angles out away from the egg to provide an anti-splash back effect, basically enabling you to use larger amount of water and/or inhaling intensely without water splashing up to your lips. I recommend a few practice inhalations before filling your flower bowl just to be certain. The very end expands a little with reinforced glass to pace your lips upon.
