Eccentricity is a hallmark of Hemper and this one is no exception! I adore how odd this water pipe it. So it’s a snail, a strange snail but still a snail. I have told by a trusted friend that it is actually a character from the cartoon Spongebob Square Pants, Gary the pet snail to be precise. I will try to describe it but probably best if you check out the photo! The 100% borosilicate glass body has many colours all over. There is a very thick thickened base in a shade of dark green, this base extends up towards the protruding eyeballs providing a pathway for the smoke to travel. These eyeballs (one) are also the mouthpiece.
Measuring: 6″/15cms refers to the height without the bowl. 18cms at its tallest point (with bowl in place) and 14cms wide at the base (widest point).
This is the XL Version with a smaller one out there too. The male flower bowl sits right upon the very top of the spherical body, a 14mm removable cup bowl. The bowl attaches directly to the fixed down stem. This down stem culminates in a showerhead percolator, offering some pretty intense diffusion/cooling/cleaning of your smoke. A disc shaped percolator system with a myriad of holes along its perimeter. It may seem weird to inhale via the eyeball but the design will assist in eliminating any water splashing up onto your lips.
This is a great gift or a collector’s item or maybe you are a little eccentric. No judgement here, I just enjoy stocking unique pieces and seeing the expressions on my customer’s faces!
