LAVA PLATES?
An interesting name indeed. These little accessories will enable you to vape herbal extracts/concentrates/wax directly within your Linx Dry herb vaporiser. Generally most herbal vaporisers are designed to safely vape just one form of herbal material and to be honest I usually recommend buying separate units. These plates give you the ability to ignore my advice!
TIP: You can vape both dry herbal materil and extracts together with this accessory. A double whammy!
Each plate (three are 3 provided) is a thick pad of medical grade stainless steel that is placed at the very base of the oven within your Linx Vaporiser. I would say that these would also work in other dry herb vaporisers as long as the diameter covers the entire base of the oven. The premise is quick basic, these pads create a barrier between the holes at the base of your oven and your herbal wax. Some users place it directly at the base but if vaping dry herb and wax together Linx recommends a layer of herbal material at the base before creating a “sandwich” out of 2 lava pads. Place your extract within the pads. Position them over the herbal material and vape as per usual. A higher temperature is recommended.
TIP: Each pad is a circle and has a diameter of 1cms.
