White Rhino is a brand that I have been quietly watching for a little while now, knowing that I wanted to stock some of their products and now I am dipping my toes in. Dry herbs and concentrates are their main focus with a small variety of vaporisers and associated accessories on offer.
CONVERTERS
Why use one? Water Pipes/rigs incorporate down stems (some fixed whilst others can be swapped out) into their design. One end of a down stem sits immersed in water whilst the other is the connection port for a flower bowl/banger. This port is generally frosted for an airtight fit and will come in a variety of standard sizes; 10mm, 14, or 18/19mm. A gender is also applied, either male or female dependent on design. It is important to know the size and gender of both your down stems and flower bowls/bangers if you are buying new accessories or want to upgrade your glass pieces.
TIP: Male connection points are thinner/narrower that female connections. Males connect to the females via insertion, hence the width. Majority of standard flower bowls are male whilst most downs stems tend to be female. This is not always the case though so please check.
FEATURES
This adapter/converter is double sided, providing 2 functions depending on which end is used. Each adapter is made from very thick high quality glass and both ports are frosted. There is a White Rhino logo on one side.
Side 1 – will enable you to ultimately attach an 18/19mm bowl once in place. A male bowl. Or to put it another way, you have a female down stem that usually holds 14mm, male bowls and you want to use a larger sized one that is also male.
Side 2 – will enable you to ultimately attach an 14mm bowl once in place. A female bowl. Or to put it another way, you have a male down stem that usually holds 18/19mm, female bowls and you want to use a smaller sized one that is also female.
