FEATURES
I quite like this water pipe, simple yet highly functional. A really great size too. A beaker style water pipe with angular curves, hence the deco moniker. Beaker style water pipes generally have water chambers that are rather roomy. This allows for deeper filtration and a smoother experience. This beaker is no exception, allowing for a large amount of water if so required. Generally I recommend that the water level at a minimum cover the diffusion slits/holes at the base of the down stem. Other than that you can fill as much as you would like but please take a few (deep) practice inhalations to test for splash back before loading the flower bowl.
To help combat any water splashing up onto your lips there is a narrowing between the water chamber and the neck portion. Not narrow enough to act as an ice pinch but it will help with splashing. At the very top of the neck is a wide mouthpiece, reinforced and nicely rounded off. A 14mm male cup flower bowl is provided. This bowl is on the smaller side and has a collar for easy and safe handling. This bowl is removable. The angled down stem is also removable and full glass but it has a twist, see next section for more.
SILICONE SKINS/PROTECTION/CLEANING
Removable silicone sets this water pipe apart. I will break them down individually;
- Diffusion down stem – The actual glass stem is a simple tube with an insert that provides diffusion. This silicone piece slots into the end of the glass stem. This insert/plug has many holes in it to break down smoke. Once removed you can easily access the inner glass stem for cleaning.
- Silicone down stem insertion – Sits on the outside of the water chamber and keeps the down stem locked in an airtight position. You can remove this piece.
- Protective sleeve – The base and the mouthpiece both have a molded removable protective skin.
- Silicone cleaning plugs – x2 plugs are provided. 2 sizes to cover both opening for deep cleaning.
