Grav Labs, hands down are the masters of glass, scientific producers of glass if you will. A global reputation that is hard to surpass. Built to last, highly functional and as gorgeous as glass can get. Those in the know only and always use Grav glass. When Grav makes a water pipe/dab rig/glass pipe they know what they are doing. Built strong for a smooth and easy session. Oh, and so they don’t break easily either. Beautiful enough to display anywhere in your home, if that’s how you do things.
FEATURES
The Wedge Bubbler is one of the simpler pieces from Grav that I currently stock within my super cool vape/420 lifestyle boutique. Sometimes simple is exactly what you need, particularly if it is ergonomically designed. The design is that of a wedge, a triangular slice of sorts making it easy to hold and hard to drop (but it is still glass, so please be careful!). The glass of the entire piece is relatively thick with a flat base for stability. The base is the widest part of the wedge and it narrows as you reach the mouthpiece. This Bubbler bulges out (circular) to accommodate the water chamber, down stem and flower bowl.
The flower bowl provided is the Grav 14mm Cup Bowl, one of Grav’s smaller bowls. Smaller bowls are not inferior and are useful for those that like smaller hits. The 14mm Cup Bowl is also the standard bowl provided with Grav Helix Water Pipes. There is a glass maria around the stem of the bowl enabling you to handle it safely, especially when hot. This bowl is removable and fits 14mm female connections.
The down stem is fixed and will need to be kept clean whilst in place. A Fission down stem will provide moderate levels of percolation to filter and cool your smoke. 2 openings at the base of the down stem will allow your smoke to interact with the water within the chamber. A standout feature of the Wedge Bubbler is the fact that you only need minimal water for full functionality with minimal splash back. My advice is to ensure that the 2 holes in the down stem sit within water and you should be good to go!
Lastly, the actual mouthpiece is a raised protrusion that juts out from the top of the wedge and just like the rest of the piece is on the smaller side. Perfect for those that like a more subdued experience. Small, ergonomic, highly functional and it is made by Grav – need I say more?
