WHY BACKROLL?
Rolling backwards (or inside out) is a connoisseur level skill and my old friend Andrew (Drew to his friends) used to amaze me with his ability. Traditionally the rolling paper is flipped upside down with the gum line facing down to roll backwards. Rolling then commences and the excess paper is ripped/burnt off. This method (when perfected) minimizes the total amount of paper used resulting in a slower and more even burn. This in turn impacts on smoothness and flavour, basically improving it. Raw has decided to show respect to their “back rollers” with these papers.
